Business employees perform key services in firms in the mechanical, electrical and metal industry. They work in the fields of‘administration, product sales, shipping, finances and accounting.
2. Tornos training concept
The 3-year business employee apprenticeship is a program of 6-month sessions in the firm's various administrative departments. (Purchasing / Sales / Accounting / Customer Support (After-Sales (SAV)) and Spare Parts Department (SPR) / Information Processing (Computers))
Purchasing : Processing of order confirmations, order management, filing, phone calls, offer demands, equipment orders.
Sales : Machine offers, customer reminders, filing, inspection reports, customer training (registrations and appointments), equipment orders.
Accounting : General accounting, reminder letters, UBS credit card management, check processing, customer payments.
Customer Support (After-Sales (SAV)) : Filing, machine equipment, job orders, warranted shipments.
Spare Parts Department (SPR) : Swiss franc billing, filing, equipment orders, letter stamping.
Information Processing (Computers) : Intranet management, Excel, Word, Visio, Powerpoint, hypertext link, ecology in the firm, file modifications, report updating.
