In terms of market segments, here in North America, Tornos has unparalleled expertise in the medical arena. In fact, 70% of Tornos’ US business is in the medical parts sector. We serve the world’s top medical parts manufacturers – Hammill Medical, Johnson & Johnson Dupuy, Medtronic, Nobel Biocare, Remmele, Smith & Nephew, Stryker, Zimmer, just to name a few. TTUS is also strong in the areas of automotive parts manufacture in the Midwest (home to the Detroit Big Three: General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler; and in aerospace and electronics parts manufacture in Silicone Valley, California and the Southwest.
