Grand opening of the Customer Center Milan, as a prelude to 32.BI-MU
Tornos Italy will inaugurate its new customer center in Milan on October 13, 2020. With the theme of "Turning Together," this event—originally planned for May—was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The inauguration and open house will be conducted in compliance with official COVID-19 regulations.
The opening ceremony of the new Customer Center Milan will take place at 15:00 on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. After the official opening ceremony and speeches, the 150 to 200 guests will have the opportunity to tour the new Customer Center Milan.
The opening ceremony is a prelude to the 32.BI-MU, which will take place from October 14–17, 2020, at the Fiera Milano in Rho (Milan). The entire Tornos Italy team looks forward to welcoming visitors to the 32.BI_MU at the Tornos booth in Hall 11, Stand D8. At the same time, all visitors to this trade fair are invited to visit the new Customer Center Milan. On request, a shuttle service will be available for 32.BI-MU visitors, giving them the opportunity to discover the new premises of the company based in Rho, in the Milanese industrial zone.
In the new Customer Center Milan, visitors will see the entire range of Tornos machines in the specially equipped premises. With this customer center concept, Tornos offers its guests insight into what Tornos is all about. It is a way for them to experience Tornos from A to Z, receiving professional advice in a specially designed environment.
The new 800-square-meter showroom is the perfect venue to showcase single-spindle machines, including a Swiss DT, a Swiss GT, an EvoDECO, and a SwissNano, as well as a MultiSwiss. Customers will see the machines up close and in action.
Italy occupies third place in Europe in terms of machine tools, just after Germany and France. Despite the global slowdown, the Automotive sector is still booming in Italy, which is proving to be even more responsive than before.
