Commissioning engineer (m/w), Moutier, Switzerland

Introduction

Responsible for implementing and monitoring machine setup and testing for our Process Engineering department at our Moutier site. The commissioning engineer sets up and configures the turning machines in accordance with the requirements specifications for the setup projects and customer testing.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing and installing machines and their peripheral equipment
• Drawing up the setup documentation, in collaboration with the preparation office
• Setting up turning machines
• Producing parts in accordance with the acceptance conditions set out in the requirements specifications
• Performing and assessing machining, equipment and machine testing

Your profile

• Ideally you will hold a certificate in bar turning or an interdisciplinary mechanic's certificate
• In-depth knowledge of bar turning, the challenges it involves and the methods it uses
• Knowledge of English or German to facilitate communication with our customers regarding technical matters
• Familiarity with Tornos machines and how they work
• Organized and methodical
• Good communication skills
• Interested in learning about new technologies
