Automatic turning machine after-sales service engineer (m/w), Moutier, Switzerland

Introduction

We are looking to employ an engineer to join our after-sales service team, who will manage repairs and installation work for our single-spindle machines, known as automatic turning machines in Switzerland (80%), as well as overseas (20%).

Your responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning our single-spindle machines
• Identifying faults, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Upgrading our single-spindle machines in accordance with the instructions
• Reporting to your superior any comments made by customers that could be used to bring about positive developments in our products

Your profile

• Qualified mechanic, micro-mechanic, mechanic/electrician or equivalent
• Ability to speak French, German and/or English
• Experience of working with electricity
• Ability to work independently
• Familiarity with single-spindle machines would be a plus
• Experience in swarf evacuation would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel frequently to customers' premises, both within Switzerland and overseas
• Willingness to participate in training in areas in which there are knowledge gaps
• Good understanding of IT tools
